This is Lissel Dalton. Lissel took over the bake sale portion of our event in 2012. She spent numberless hours working on gathering donations, making up price tags, making adorable decorations and countless other things to make the bake sale run smoothly. When the time came to organize the Kickin' Cancer's Can event for 2013 despite facing health challenges Lissel was more than happy to help organize the bake sale. The wind was fierce at our event last year but Lissel still managed to have the most successful bake sale we'd ever seen. When all was said and done Lissel felt that her service made a difference not only in the lives of those who benefited from the bake sale but to her life and those around her. That December Lissel suddenly passed away. Our hearts broke for her beautiful 4 daughters and her loving husband. Our minds still have a hard time grasping at the fact that she's not here. We miss her bright insight and beautiful contributions desperately as we've planned each and every event since then. Natalee Wexels has ever so graciously taken Lissel's place as Bake Sale Coordinator. We ask you all to help us honor our dear friend by making a difference in someone's life by coming to our event purchasing a baked good, enjoy some dinner and all the other activities going on. If you would like to donate any bake goods please contact our bake sale director here. And last but not least please share this status to help spread the word for our great event!
